The 2019 Corvette ZR1 is the fastest, most powerful production Corvette ever built. Recently introduced in mid-November, the new Corvette ZR1 is pushing engineering to its limits. Though it won’t be available until next spring, the new ZR1 has a sleek exterior, the latest design features, and a powerful engine—enough to impress virtually any driver.
According to Chevy, the Corvette ZR1 has an exclusive LT5 supercharged engine that offers up to 755 horsepower and 715 lb-ft of torque. That makes the ZR1 the most powerful production Corvette ever built. There’s also carbon fiber body panels, an adjustable High Wing for improved down force, and an aerodynamics package.
“I’ve never driven a Corvette like this before, and nobody else has either, because there’s never been one like this before,” said Mark Reuss, executive vice president, Global Product Development, Purchasing and Supply Chain. “Its unprecedented performance puts all other global supercars on notice that the ZR1 is back.”
The chassis of the new ZR1 is derived from the C7.R racecar, yet the design is entirely new. Driver’s will be able to opt for the Sebring Orange Design package, with special accents, interior stitching, and more.
We at Graff Chevrolet can’t wait until the new 2019 Corvette ZR1 goes on sale next spring.
