Despite the increasing demand for SUVs, crossovers, and pickup trucks, passenger cars still hold a sweet spot for modern drivers. That’s why it comes as no surprise that Chevrolet has revamped the design for the 2019 Malibu, Cruze, and Spark models.
The restyled Chevrolet passenger car lineup offer a look at the brand’s new signature style, which will be featured throughout its lineup. Each one has more sculpted lines, creating a more premium look without sacrificing the models’ athletic appeal—but this exterior redesign isn’t the only change these models will embody in 2019.
For the 2019 model year, the Malibu will add a sportier model to its lineup with the first-ever Malibu RS. The Cruze will also see a few new trim levels, including the Cruze LS Hatch. While the Spark won’t be receiving a new model to its lineup, it will be adding another innovative technology—Low Speed Forward Automatic Braking—to enhance safety. The Spark will also incorporate new exterior colors including Passion Fruit, Orange Burst Metallic, Raspberry and Caribbean Blue Metallic.
Two of Chevy’s passenger cars, the Sonic and the Impala, will remain untouched for the 2019 model year. The new Malibu, Cruze, and Spark models, however, will be available later this year in Chevrolet dealerships across the United States.
