Putting air in your tires is something that all drivers have to do eventually. It became even easier to keep track of your tire’s air pressure when Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems became standard across the industry in late 2007. Now, Chevrolet is taking it one step further with a Tire Fill Alert for the 2020 Camaro.
The Tire Fill Alert will be standard across the entire 2020 Camaro lineup. While you are adding air to your tires, the Tire Fill Alert will make an audible sound when the tire has reached the appropriate air pressure level. This saves you the hassle of having to continually check the pressure with a gauge.
Working with the Tire Fill Alert system, the TPMS can display pressure readings for each individual tire on the dashboard instrument panel so you have a better idea of when you are going to need to add more air.
Both pressure systems work with any kind of tires on the Camaro, whether you are using the standard all season tires or optional high-performance summer tires. Having the proper air pressure is critical to maintaining a high level of performance like what you want when you drive the Chevrolet Camaro.
