Our tires keep our car going, so of course you’ll want to keep your tires rolling as long as possible! Here are some tips on how to extend tire life.
Rotate Your Tires
Rotate your tires every 6,000 to 8,000 miles to help even out tread wear amongst all of your tires. If you don’t rotate your tires regularly, then some of your tires might wear faster than others.
Check Your Alignment
Make sure to regularly check your alignment because if it’s off, it can cause faster and more uneven wear on your tires.
Maintain Proper Inflation
Keeping your tires inflated properly can help extend their tire life. If your tires have inflation that is too low or too high, then this could cause slow leaks or blowouts that end up damaging your tires.
Pay special attention to tire conditions in the extreme weather, whether it’s heat or cold. Paying careful attention to inflation and wear on your tires in extreme weather can help prevent from accidents and shorter tire lifespan.
